Friday 1 June, students at the bachelor's degree in media and interaction design at the University of Bergen presented what they have been working on this spring.
In collaboration with companies in Media City Bergen, the graduates have made prototypes. At the demo, the four groups presented their projects: Climate Foundation with Futurise, M'Labs / Greensight with Greensite, Bergens Tidende with BT Junior, and Vimond with MAI (Meta Artificial Intelligence).
The second-year students have worked with journalistic stories based on Virtual Reality technology this spring. The four stories are about drug addiction, cryonics - to freeze themselves, schizophrenia and plastics. Lars Nyre gave us a quick introduction to the course plan, before we got to experience the four VR stories on our own.
